My last post I posted was when I was really tired of reading and was so stressed! haha!! But i finished all the three books that I had to read and let me tell ya! It feels great to just lay in bed knowing that I AM DONE with the books I had to read! Are you serious!!!

Before we got off break my core teacher was telling our class about this reading challenge and that you have to have read 6 books to be able to attend this field trip! 6 BOOKS! I looked down at the chart and found out that I had only read three books and that I NEEDED TO READ this break! She practically the whole week has consisted of me laying on the couch reading! ALSO... I have a hard time laying on the couch and just reading... as you probably all know me I like to be on the move all the time and if I just lay on the couch and read I get really sleepy and end up waking up wondering where on earth I am (in the basement! haha I always wake up nervous and wondering where i am even if i am in my stinkin' house.. oh boy!) and also I was about to kill my self cause I hardly even read!!!!!! Well I have gotten down 2 books and have like 50 more pages in my other book! OH BOY!!! ugh.....! But I think I can do it!!! Sorry to all you people who just love to lounge on the couch and enjoy and good book... but I rather be doing something more.... fun! haha...

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We stayed at our house and had Papa Peck, Grandma and Grandpa Gibson, my mom and dad, and me! It was very different not having Grandma Mare with us!! She was always the one that was talking and having so much fun! But I really think she was there with us! We had a blast by waking up and watching the annual thanksgiving parade!!! We had thanksgiving dinner at 2:00. We are going to go to the Blind Side the movie in a couple of minutes. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Talons Craft Fair

My cheer group got to cheer for the annual Talons Craft Fair that Canyon View High School holds every year. This was our first time that we got to preform in front of a croud! We did great! I got to see some of my friends there like Job and Kaitlyn. We had a fun time! GO ExCel! :)

New Moon

So I saw New Moon with my mom and michelle and alex and what a great show! but we went to the late movie and so I of course fell asleep at the last 30 minutes of the show.... But I woke up right up at the end to hear everone gasping! hehe! BUT I just have to say how CUTE Jacob is! HOLY COW! WOW!!! oh my.... i couldnt get over it when I saw his hair! cute! such a cutie! comment if you agree with me! ;)

For Jessica's birthday her boyfriend who lives in Wisconsin to go to school so he can doctor surprised her by waking her up at 2 in the morning!!! He told her that he wouldn't be able to come out for her birthday because he had tests that he couldn't miss! So when Jessica wakes up and finds Brett staring at her she was confused for a minute until she woke up all the way! She says this was the best surprise ever! On her birthday (November 7th) we went to Wingers with my mom, my dad, Chelsea, my friend Brenna, Brett's parents, the Jorgensons, and I! They had the all you can eat wings and so Brett decided to get some!! It was pretty funny cause he was like "dad I am like only on my 16th wing!" oh my gosh!!! haha... that's a lot Brett!!! but here are some photos of Jess and Brett and there weekend together! :)

I have so many photos that I only posted one! haha...!!! I had a great time for my birthday!!! I had Brooklynn Ludlow and Brenna Garett come with me! We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD GO TO IT! :)

Missionary Work + Temple Trip with YW!!!

Last night had the the privilege to go to a missionary meeting for these 2 girls (about my age) who are going to become a member of the church and get baptized sometime this month. They have parents that aren't active and so its hard on Sunday to be able to go to church meetings. The YW have been going over to there house to get to know the girls better so they are more confident and will come to church meetings. The YW take one of the girls on one of there meetings and will have them sit and listen to there meeting and be able to answer questions but mostly to encourage the girls to come to church! I was invited to go to one of there meetings and had a blast! The missonaries were SO cute and taught the lesson so well! We talked about baptism and repentence. It was great and we had a blast! I can tell they girls are excited to get baptised and are ready!!!!! They are so cute and look like great girls to be friends with!!!! Lets hope they come to church this week so I will be able to talk to them more and be able to maybe start to get to know her better! :)

ALSO I am going inside the temple tonight for my first time!!! I am so excited to be able to do baptisms for the dead!!! I will make sure to post about it!!! :)

SO this picture was taken awhile ago but I decided to post it. This is what we woke up to one morning! GREAT!!! NOT! I hate snow!!! hate it, hate it, hate it! But right now I am looking outside and there is no snow anywhere on the ground and its sunny and yeah. With Cedar you never know whats going to happen! :) But for right now its warm!! What will tomorrow be like?

Grandma Mare

So I have been slacking so much on this blog it's not even funny! BUT every Saturday I try my hardest to update best I can! :)

I decided to put a post on for my Grandma Mare that past away in July. I was very hard to go up north and seeing my grandma doing great and then hearing that is has past away! This was the first family death that has happened to me and trust me its very hard! She was such a fun loving person who was always cheerful and was always looking for the good in people. She was never negitive or hurtful and was always trying to have fun! I got to see her before she had her stroke which lead to her death and was very grateful that I got to hug my grandma and tell her I loved her. I was thinking at her funeral what I last said to her. And I have to say I remember telling her as we left to go to my aunt house that I loved her. I think that is the best sentence that I could have said to her. I love you.

The funeral was great and I got to sing and was able to read the letter to everyone that I wrote to Grandma when I wasnt able to see her in the hospital. Here is what I wrote:

Dear Grandma Mare.

I hope as mom read this letter that you will be able to hear this letter and understand this letter. I love you so much and want the best for you. I miss you so much. You have been the best and always will be. Thanks for all the fun activities that you've planned that have brought the family closer. I know that families are forever and I know I WILL be able to see you again. I want you to know how the Heavenly Father will watch over Papa and will protect him in his daily actions. I'm sorry that I am not here to read this letter. I wish I could be. Grandma, I want you to know that when you return back to your Heavenly Father that you will be able to your meet your parents, grandparents, and so forth. I also know when you are heaven that you will be healed and will be well again. It's hard to see you leave this eath but through the gospel it's easier to know that I WILL see you again. I know for a fact that I will see you. I want you to know that you have been in my prayers for the past month. Thanks for everything. I am very glad that before I left your house I got to hug you and say I love you and be able to say goodbye. I love you. I will see you in heaven when it's my time.

Goodbye Grandma, I love you dearly

I finally put this on but waited awhile cause I always read this letter I meltdown into tears. Actually right now I am crying... I miss her so much!!! I love her!!!

Her funeral was great and as my girl cousins sang the song you light up my life I could feel the spirit. It's such a beautiful song and I will catch myself at times singing it to my self.

I hope she knows how much I love her. I think about her DAILY and I was thinking that in December when we have the peck reunion (Christmas) she wont be there....

I decided that when I have kids that I am going to name (if I have any girls) my grandma's name Marilyn for their middle name in memory of my grandma. I love her!

coolest picture eva!!! She is so small that sitting on my shoulder is no big deal!! And yes.. she is in the same grade as me and same age and look how tiny she is!!!

We made this cool trick up where we would stand on my bed she would turn around and then clasp her legs around my waist and then flip her head down to my legs!! so funny!!! oh my gosh we were cracking up!!!

Last night Toni came home with me and we hung out until it was time to go to Davis' Basketball game. This time is was a real game were they had some other collage from somewhere else!!
