Christmas-2009

I didn't take nearly that many pictures but oh well! I still had a blast!!! We had our annual Christmas Breakfast and then hung out all day and then went to a movie.. Sorry it isn't long but ya!!! There's our christmas

Katie's birthday was on December 27 and Bretts birthday is on Wednesday. So on Katie's b-day we celebrated both Katie's and Brett's. If any of you know Katie is wasn't very happy that she had to share her special day, but she got over it! And you should have seen her face when my mom opened the cake and saw not only her name but BRETTS. She wasn't very happy! (there is a picture of it!) But they had a really good birthday! We had steak, baked potatoes, broccoil, rolls, and soy sauce chicken (SO GOOD!). We had Grandma Elene, Davis, Chelsea, Jessica, Brett, Katie, Mom, Dad, and I so we had EVERYONE! We ate and then we opened up gifts. Davis had to leave early for practice. After we opened gifts we ate icecream cake and then played games. I cheated on games with Chelsea but it was her fault she was texting and couldn't see me so I just kept on cheating! haha but she caught me! ugh haha! But it was a great night! Happy Birthday Katie and Brett!

They're getting MARRIED!

This picture is suppose to be on the bottom of the post.. but my stupid laptop wont let me so just remember this picture of Chelsea when she got engaged. But this post isn't able Chelsea.. ITS ABOUT JESSICA!

Jessica's Ring! It's beautiful! We all love it!

Jessica! I am SO happy for her and Brett! yay!

At the "Phantom of the Oprah" play.

I can not believe that Jessica is engaged! It went by so fast! Chelsea got married and then her!! I am so happy for her and Brett! They are really cute together!! It was really funny because when Chelsea got engaged she has almost the same photo as Jessica when the men proposed to them. They are all pointing to the ring and smiling their hardest!!! I am not all quite for sure about all the details of HOW she got engaged, but I'll try my hardest to tell you how.. Lets see how does it start.. OH! ok here we go...

For Christmas my mom had one BIG gift for each of us. Chelsea, Katie, and I got gift cards to go to the Vegas mall. But Jessica got two tickets to go see the "Phantom of the Oprah" play in Vegas with Brett. My mom and Brett talked before my mom gave Jessica the tickets and Brett thought it would be the best time to propose to her sometime during the day. They left our house around 9ish and stopped around Cedar before really heading to Vegas. Brett had a little trouble hiding the ring so she wouldn't find out but first decided to hide it in his coat pocket that is inside his jacket. Then when they went to the mall he went into the restroom and hid it in his socks. When they went to the play they had a great time.. but he said there were tons of people and so he wanted to wait a little bit. He told Jessica that they were going to walk to the gorge and when they got up there, there were TONS of people and he didn't want to do it with EVERYONE in every corner so they got in the car and headed home. When he jumped into the car it fell and so he was really nervous that he lost the ring but when he looked down he found it between the seat and door. Jessica asked what fell and he said "Oh.. just my chapstick!' they were traveling to Brett parents house that they own in Beaver dam but it's just a vacation home, they live in cedar. On the way to the house in Beaver dam Jessica had no clue that he was going to propose and she was listening to all the love songs on Taylor Swift like Love story. Where the song talks about getting married! haha! when they arrived home they were dancing (slow dancing) and Jessica turned around and he was on his knees with the ring. She covered her eyes for a minute and then looked down at him and said YES!

So there is the story.. I am pretty sure that is the whole story but I wasn't really paying that close of attention. haha.. well i was i just forget some stuff. So if i mess up on some part of the story , i am sorry!! Well there you have it. We are thinking about having the wedding in June.. but who knows! YAY! Jessica Hall and Brett Hall. HOW CUTE!

Christmas Decorations

I got this email and thought it was so funny that I just had to share!

Well, there is good news and bad news about my Christmas decorations. The good news is that I truly outdid myself this year. The bad news is that I had to take them down after only two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). She was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard. I think I made him too real this time . But it was fun while it lasted. ;)

Who's Jealous???

The pictures explain it all! Yep.. Chelsea and Davis are in California for Christmas in the WARM weather, while the rest of the family is in FREEZING cold weather! ahh! I wish we could swap places for a least a day! Really!

I LOVE this time of year!

I adore this month SO much! Because...... you can mostly find Jessica making a craft at the table each year making a scapbook, quilt, or something like that! Also you a bundle of goodies! I think I gained on a avereage of 10 lbs! ;) ALSO... I just love getting all the Christmas cards! Thats my favorite! I JUST LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! DONT YOU?

Gibson Family Christmas Party

I love this time of year where we are invited to all kinds or Christmas parties. Before we went to the Peck Family Christmas party we visted the other side of the family and had breakfast for lunch. We had a waffle buffet and had eggs and bacon. It was really good. I haven't had waffles for years and so if was great being able to have waffles again! We ate lunch and then did the white elephant gift exchange. Some of my favorite were; my aunt had my cousin go outside before we opened them and had him unscrew my mom licence plate off her car and they wrapped that up and put it in a huge box and put weights in the box to make the box seem heavy. Jessica opened the box to find the tiny license plate at the bottom of the box! It was really funny! Also my mom found an Obama Chica-pet and that was a big hit as well! I didn't take that many photos for some reason! :)

Annual Peck Family Christmas Party

This year at the Peck Family Christmas Party we had a lot of people gone. I am pretty sure that we had 40 people out of 70 something in the Peck Family. The reason why we had so few was because we had some that had new babies in their house, so lived too far away, and for Chelsea and Davis they were in California visting Davis' side of the family. But still with 40 so people we still had a blast. In the Peck Family I don't have many kids my age but that doesn't really bother me because I mostly spend most of my time with the babies! I love all my little baby cousins. Oh I just want to squeeze their little cheeks! The only little kids that were able to come were; Everest, Gracie, Lucy, Ruthie, Anna, and Seth. I haven't seen Everest for a while and so it was so fun being able to see him! He makes me laugh! We had all the presents by the tree and he would just stand there in shock looking at all these gifts and would make noices like "ohh!" And when Papa passed out the gift and handed Angela Everest's gift, Angela told Everest to come get his gift but he was so in shock by all these presents, that he just stood there with big bug eyes make those cute little noices! But before we headed to the Cottonwood Club where the party is held, we thought that it would be nice to maybe stop by Grandma Mare's grave before we headed over to the party. It was the first Christmas party without her and let me tell you guys, it was very different without hearing her say " Yodel a you!" when she needed our attention, or when we played songs with the bells to hear he sing the songs as we struggled to tap the bell when it was our turn, but mostly it was different when it was time to leave that we only could hug Papa. But we heading to where she was buried. She isn't buried like most of us our buried she is buried above the ground. We passed where she layed and I took a couple of photos. It was so beautiful! It was snowing (if you can't all ready tell in the photos) and Aunt Tomi put up a solar Christmas Tree so in the morning the sun will "charge" the lights and then at light it really works like a Christmas tree. It's pretty neat and a great idea. We stopped and took a couple of pictures. I was trying to hold back tears as I took the pictures, but just couldn't! This year has been very hard for me from having her pass away, very hard! I cried as we made our way down to the Cottonwood mall but don't worry I cried silently, so not knowing that I was crying my parents and sister didn't even know! We made our way to the club and we talked with Joan and Jerry (Jerry is Grandma Mares brother, and let me tell you, he reminds me EXACTLY like Grandma Mare!) and then helped Papa and Shauna unload the car and put the gifts around the tree. When the party started we had some yummy food (each year it's the same food). It was really good! Then we played this new game that they made up where you found a partner (my partner was cousin David) and you have 2 dice. You have a card that looks kind of like a bingo card. You roll the two dice and what ever 2 numbers you roll you can add the numbers together and what it equals if you have it on your card you can put it on the number on the board or you can roll the dice and the 2 numbers you get, you can put on it just how it is (EXAMPLE: if I rolled a 2 and 6, I could find a 2 and 6 and put in on the board). But the object of the game was to fill the whole board with M&M's and then say "Merry Christmas!". The first to say "Merry Christmas" was the winner and could pick out a candy from the basket. Of course the first round was a little hectic and David and I (being competitive) were, I guess you could say " kinda cheating.." but by the 3rd round we were like pros! We played against Connor and Garrett. After we played this fun game, we played a game that Angela and Aaron made up. It was like a Christmas Jeporady game. It was boys verses girls.. and it ended up that the boys won! We had a fun time answering the questions! It was a REALLY fun game! After we played Chrismas Jeporady we had icecream and then it was time to open gift. We have this rule that when you get your present that you wait until everyone has their gift and then we open them at the same time. This year we got our shirts for the dude ranch that we are going to in June this summer! The girls had red shirts, and the boys had blue shirts. The reason why they had different colors for each girl and boy was because when we go to the dude ranch you have races and games that we play while we are up there. On the back of the shirts they say " The Peck Family Round-up 2010" I think that they are so cute! And thanks to Shauna , the presents were so cute because of her skills on wrapping gifts. I bet as you are reading this you know what I mean! She is so creative and all the presents where wrapped so cute! Papa is lucky to have Shauna to help him wrap tons of gifts! We had a drawing and had all types of goofy prices! I had got some yummy popcorn that didn't make it home because of the twins and I. We ate it all gone! It was delicous! Oh.. I forgot the order of how things went but I forgot to mention the bells! How could I forget! Papa sat by me and let me tell you how much this guy means to me! He is such a great guy! I love him! Him and I had fun singing the songs while we "tried" to ring the bells when it was our turn. Both him and I think that we deserve to be in like a choir group because we are just "awesome!" with playing the bells (wink, wink!) But you are probably thinking that this is the mostly longest post ever and you are probably falling asleep but this long post is mainly for my cousins live far away and weren't able to be there and also for Chelsea and Davis. Well I better end this but that was our Christmas Party and I can't wait for next years!

Cord Dancing!

I told Cord at school that I was going to bring my camera to school and video tape his class doing a dance that they had to do at half time at the CVMS basketball game. I brought my camera and sat right where he was going to dance so I could film him. I thought that he was going to look horrible but he actually did pretty good! I loved it when he shaked his hips! haha!!! Enjoy Cord dancing (if any of you dont know he is my boyfriend! ;) )

Braysen

Making my sweet karate chop move!
Braysen... That kid makes me crack up.... he is SO funny!

Ready to karate chop my hand! watch out cassie! It kills when he hits you! he gave a bruise!

Jaden is the Ninja master!

Jake making his Ninja move.

Marcie wanted me to take a photo of her posing like a Ninja!

Jake and Christian. Both of those boys are hilarious!

Logan is the master at this game!!

Braysen...braysen...braysen... oh boy does this kid make you laugh to you cry!

He is such a goof!!

Yesterday I brought my camera to school, because Cords class was dancing at half time at the CVMS basketball game. So I decided I would embarrass Cord by recording him dancing. But before I recored him, my teacher taught us this game called Ninja. If any of you have played this game, let me tell ya, you have to have skills to play this game! I wasn't very good and ended up getting big red marks on my hand from hitting the desk or not watching someone and then when they slapped me it would turn red! How you play ninja is that you have a group of people and you have them all do a ninja pose and freeze, then each person will take a turn by making a different move...but you are trying...while making that move to get the next person out next to you by hitting their hand while you are making your move. The person next to you has to move quickly so they won't get hit by the person making the move... but... you only make one move and then you freeze and you can't move! It's difficult for me because I guess you could say that I don't think fast enough so I always get out in a matter of seconds! Oh well! I got to take lots of pictures!

I am going to miss this show so much that it isn't even funny! I loved watching them everyday, everywhere! I guess I could watch it if I ever babysit at night when the kids are sleeping because Ludlows (yes natalie i love your tv at nightime! best! but dont worry brea and bubba are sleeping and brooklynn watches it with me!) but I love their tv because she has them recored so I can watch them and cry cause I wont be able to see this show!!!! ugh... so sad! HELP! Comment on what you think about this! I LOVE comments! My favorite part about blogging! So comment!

Choir Concert

So... This post is kinda awkward because first of all I really don't have a good voice so yeah... but I whole bunch of the kids in my choir can really sing! Holy Cow amazing :)! But anyways! In 6th grade you have to take a art class and you can pick from band, orchestra. or art. So I choose art cause I wasn't really a fan of voilin but we go to three rotations in this art class that I chose. So for like 4 months I was in just a normal art class with you know drawing, painting, etc. I really liked that and then we had to say bye to that teacher (which was hard! I loved that lady!) and we headed to choir! So all the boys that you see in the video are kinda forced to be in choir! But don't you all think they look so cute :) !!! They didn't like the idea when our choir teacher (Mrs. Red) told the class that we had a choir concert and it was worth 350 points for your grade! Oh boy!!! But anyways we were stuck with singing for a concert in front of everyone! thank goodness not the whole school!!!! But I love all these kids in my choir class! They are all so nice and I get along with all of them great! Enjoy the four songs that we sang... I am not going to tell you which one I am singing a solo in! Oh boy! My friends told Mrs. Red that I should do a solo and so she made me stand in front of the class and sing... I really don't have a great singing voice! But I am so glad that it is over with because for our next concert I won't have to do a solo! Boo Ya! But ya I wasn't very excited for that!! Enjoy the 4 songs that we sang!

Besties!!

My friends Shawnee and Brenna came over on Friday and over course being girls we got bored and so I pulled my hair to the top of my head! Dont ya just love our hair do's! They look great!! These girls are so fun to be around and we always are having a blast!!! We are always laughing!! Enjoy the cute picture! :)

Yes! A lot of these days! Drinking hot chocolate after playing in the snow! Yum! I love hot chocolate... but not the cold! I actually like hot cocca when its steaming hot and you drink and when you swallow it instantly your whole body warms up (thats my favorite part!!) Hope you enjoy the cute picture of Kaylee and I being silly while drink HOT Chocolate!

Chelsea and Cassie Day!

First we wrapped some gifts for Davis for Christmas! I helped her pick out the bows and I wrapped 2 presents.
Chelsea and I with our Christmas bows in our hair!!

Sorry its kinda a dark photo. I bet you are wondering if it was only us girls how we would be able to take a picture, well we did a self time so I had to click it and run back to my seat! I know we are so creative!

Rolling out the dough.
Chelsea insisted that we needed to look dirty so of course we had a flour fight! We look great with our messy faces! I hurried and washed my face after this picture but Chelsea forgot about her flour face and so in almost all the pictures she has flour on her face!
Best part! Frosting our cute little Christmas cookies!
The Gingerbread couple! my favorite cookies!
Frosting the cookies!

Finished results!
Baker Gingerbread people!

Today Chelsea called me and was wondering if I wanted to hang out with her because Davis is up north for basketball. I went over and we decided to make cookies! I had a blast! We had all sorts of frostings to pick from! It was really fun to just spend time with her and catch up about her life because I hardly ever see her because she is busy! She is so creative and we made tons of different kinds of colors of frostings! It was so fun and I would love to do it again some time! Check out her blog at http://www.davisandchelsea.blogspot.com/ for more details and what she thought about yesterday! ;)... We took tons of pictures!!! Enjoy!
