YW Temple Night!

Last Tuesday my Young Women and Young Men group and I got the chance to go down to the St.George temple and do babtistims for the dead. While I was there, there was this really nice guy and he was telling the Young Women and Men that when this temple first opened a long time ago and they ran the temple with absolutely no electricity!! When they starting putting electricity in the temple they had to lower the ceiling a little bit and they had to drill holes to put all the wires for the lights to work. And when they started drilling the holes they found people's hair in the walls. That is amazing that people sacrificed their hair a long time ago for this beautiful temple to be built! I just kind of thought that was interesting!
I could totally feel the spirit before I stepped foot in the warm baptismal font. I was thinking as we were going through how it was all going to work this time. You have keys for your lockers that you hold on to and these men were telling us before we went in that not only were these keys opening our lockers to get our dry new clothes but also it was opening the celestrial doors for the dead. I was thinking that how grateful those people are for us for doing this work for them. I almost starting crying when I thought about my grandma and thought about doing this for her one day. She was a neat lady and I know that she will be so grateful when she is able to get baptised!
We each got to do 10 people and it was such a neat experience! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

P.S Sorry I got off the Disneyland roll! I need to update the recent things and then I will start back up on Disneyland! Don't worry I didn't forget about my Disney trip!
